Blow molding machines are used to create hollow plastic products by inflating molten plastic into a mould. There are two main types: extrusion blow molding and PET blow molding. In extrusion blow molding, a hollow plastic tube (parison) is extruded and clamped between moulds. Air is then blown into the parison, expanding it to the shape of the mould. In PET blow molding, a plastic preform is injected into a mould, heated, and then inflated with air to form the final product. This process is commonly used to manufacture bottles, containers, and other hollow plastic items.
